Apple Afternoon at Whistlewood

12 – 4 pm – FREE entry
Come, enjoy and celebrate our main crop – Apples!
We are also celebrating the installation of a lovely willow sculpture at Whistlewood, which has come about through our collaboration with Arts Melbourne and through a series of workshops led by the Willow Sculpture Artist Nita Rao.
Bring a picnic and enjoy a early autumn afternoon at Whistlewood. There will also be:
- Apple Cooking by the Fire – Crumbles and Apple Slices – Small charge
- Our own Apples to press using our lovely Apple Press – instant juice!
- Apple tasting
- Bring your own apples and Whistlewood’s Apple Press will be available to make lovely juice – start your cider journey here! – charge
- Apple based arts and crafts for all ages.
Come and have a fruitful afternoon at Whistlewood.
We will also share the excitement of Raku firings with Andy Mason, Potter, who is running a Raku event on that day.
