Join the Fosse Fibre Group for this creative series of workshops, introducing you to the wonderful world of wool, and taking you through the steps of spinning, dyeing and weaving.
Designed as a series, we hope you join us on the whole journey. Otherwise we are happy to welcome you for a single workshop or two.
Pricing: single workshop – £55, any two – £105, or all three – £150
Price includes refreshments including cake! Please bring your lunch
Each workshop starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 3.00 pm

Way of Wool 3 – Weaving
In this workshop you will learn how to set up a weighted hanging loom, weaving the skeins that you produced in Way of Wool 2 (or we will provide skeins).
You may wish to bring additional material to weave including fabric strips, lace, feathers and beads.
You may wish to take inspiration from the beautiful surroundings at Whistlewood, including collecting natural materials from the woodland to incorporate in your creation.
You will take home your piece which could be incorporated into a further project such as a cushion cover or leave your piece on rods to display as a wall hanging.
About the Fosse Fibre Group
Fosse Fibre Group are a group of Craftspeople including spinners based in Leicestershire. They meet regularly to share skills, swap techniques and work on projects. These meetings take place at the Attenborough Nature Reserve
