Join the Fosse Fibre Group for this creative series of workshops, introducing you to the wonderful world of wool, and taking you through the steps of spinning, dyeing and weaving.
Designed as a series, we hope you join us on the whole journey. Otherwise we are happy to welcome you for a single workshop or two.
Pricing: single workshop – £55, any two – £105, or all three – £150
Price includes refreshments including cake! Please bring your lunch
Each workshop starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 3.00 pm

Way of Wool 1 – Spinning – 14 March
In this workshop you will become familiar in handling fibre, preparing it for spinning, spinning and plying it on a drop spindle. We will introduce you to carding as part of the creative process.
You will take home a skein of usable plied yarn, your drop spindle and some fibre to continue at home.
About the Fosse Fibre Group
Fosse Fibre Group are a group of Craftspeople including spinners based in Leicestershire. They meet regularly to share skills, swap techniques and work on projects. These meetings take place at the Attenborough Nature Reserve
